Bill and I both had our last day at work today. My day was the same as any other work day. However, all of the other ladies at work and I went to lunch. They surprised me with gifts for Michael. Thank you Madonna, Jennifer, Whitney, and Tracey! Also, thank you Ted for paying for our lunch!
For me, it was a really strange feeling when I walked out the doors of my office. It was hard to fathom that I will not be back to work until the end of September. I have not been away of work for more than a week or two at a time since I started at STI over 7 years. It is amazing how much of a routine you get into and how comfortable you become with it. However, we cannot wait for our routines to change as we bring home Michael.
