Pictures of the Day

Tonight is our last night in Beijing. The bellboys are coming to get our bags around 9 p.m. this evening, because there is not enough room for all of our bags on the bus we will take to the airport. We will be leaving the hotel at 5 a.m. in the morning. Then, we will fly to Taiyuan, Shanxi. We will get Michael tomorrow afternoon!!

Today, we toured the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and took a rickshaw ride through the Hutongs. You just do not realize how big the first two are until you walk the whole length of them. There will lots and lots of people. It was also very hot and humid. While in the Hutongs, we visited a local families home.

We are exhausted from our day, so I will just post some of our favorite pictures.

We hope to have a good internet connection when we arrive in Taiyuan. Hopefully, the next message you see with contain pictures of Michael. Also, we do not know how many pictures or how long of a message we will be posting from now on. It will just depend on how Michael is doing.

I'm reliving our trip reading your blog. Somethings are the same...some different. We missed the cloissone factory. :(

The next day will change your life. Blessings to you guys!
